Join our special two-day Cloud Practitioner Essentials Accelerator Course, with our trainer Stefania Gelpi (she/her). Stef will take you through the key concepts of cloud technology over two days, giving you plenty of opportunity to ask questions on each topic. The class is live and virtual.

To give you hands-on experience with AWS, this program includes time each afternoon dedicated to getting you up and running with labs including setting up an S3 bucket (day 1) and configuring high availability (day 2).

Q: Who can participate in the AWS Certification Challenge?
A:Â Any person working in the Europe, Middle East or Africa region for an AWS Partner will be eligible to participate in this EMEA AWS Certification Challenge. If you sit outside EMEA you are welcome to join the challenge but only EMEA located individuals will be eligible for the free exam voucher offer.
Q: How do I schedule the certification exam? Is there a deadline?
A: To schedule your exam, please visit aws.training > Certification to create or log into your account. Once you are in your account, you can click on "Schedule New Exam", locate the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner exam and schedule the exam either remotely or in a test centre. In order to complete the Challenge, you must schedule and sit your exam by April 30, 2023. We strongly recommend you schedule your exam 2 weeks in advance of the Challenge deadline - this will give you the most optimal chance at scheduling an exam date within your preferred date/time.Â
Q: Do I have to follow all of the training courses in order to complete the Challenge?
A: In order to qualify for the free exam voucher offer, you must attend the two-day classroom course and the live quiz webinar. However, all training, webinars, and preparation resources are optional for participants. The training curriculum provided is a recommended path of courses you can take. If you feel ready to take the certification exam, you can go ahead and schedule your exam.
Q: Is there any cost associated with getting certified?
A: There is no cost to register or participate in the training and webinar sessions for the AWS EMEA Certification Challenge. To earn the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification, participants must take and pass the associated exam, which costs $100 USD (plus local taxes).  Please check with your partner organisation on how to access a discounted voucher codes.
Q: I am the budget holder in my firm. How can I support learners on this journey?
A: You may bulk-purchase exam vouchers and assign them to employees to avoid individual reimbursement process. Â
Q: What is the validity period of the voucher?
A: The voucher will need to be used within the challenge dates,, specifically an exam taken by April 30, 2023. If it is not used in this time it will be voided.
Q: I took part in the Certification Challenge and got certified. What do I do next?
A: Congratulations! Celebrate your success and share on your social media with the hashtag #AWSCertifiedWomeninTech after getting AWS Certified!
Q: How do I share my certification with my network?
A: AWS provide digital badges on Credly’s digital badging platform to help you showcase your achievement. You can add your digital badge to your professional profiles, digital resumes, or email signatures. You can also share your digital badge as a post on social media to celebrate with your network.
Q: I received my certification already, prior to the start date. Do I qualify for this Challenge?
A: Unfortunately, no. Only those who opt in to this Challenge starting on this date will qualify to participate in the Challenge.
